You know it’s going to be a good day when you start your morning with some White Chocolate CranApple Breakfast Cookies. Created for Dixie Crystals, they are basically perfect little biscuits (the recipe is super similar to a scone recipe) yet rolled out like cookies….then dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with some extra dried cranberries.
And all the Lord’s children sang “AMEN”.
I know what you’re thinking.
Why not just make a biscuit?
Why not just make some cookies?
Why be difficult, and not leave it a scone?
And I say to you, my friends, why be similar when you were born to stand out?
Not this holiday season. This holiday season is about biscuits disguised as cookies, my friends.
I’ve also had someone ask me why I post photos here, when the recipe is for Dixie Crystals and their website. And that seems like a logical question.
If you’ve ever hopped over to my section on the Dixie Crystals website, you’ll see that each of my recipes gets a small little blurb only. And that’s perfectly fine for their site. But for my site, y’all know I need to talk more than a paragraph when I create something as profound as a breakfast biscuit cookie!
And? I took a zillion photos of these little lovelies and I’d like you to look at them okay? Take a good look at what is going to be the new, perfectly acceptable norm for brunch this holiday season.
Ya heard it here first. Breakfast. Biscuit. Cookies.
